Bulk pickup versus a dumpster. What Wyckoff collects at the curb: By request. Non-metal bulky items (furniture, mattresses, sofas): submit a Bulk Request form to have TWO items collected on the last Thursday of each month. Metal bulk items/appliances: Wednesdays by appointment only (call x1010 first). All construction and demolition debris, windows/doors, toilets/sinks/tubs, fences, railroad ties, swing sets, pianos etc. are not collected - use the contractor or a private hauler. That works for a couch. A whole garage, a roof or a renovation is a container job.
Township states construction/renovation materials must be disposed of by the contractor or a private trash collector, and notes many roofers recycle asphalt shingles.

Usually not for a container on your own driveway, though a few nearby towns do ask for one and Wyckoff has not published its driveway rule, so we confirm it with the borough before delivery. Street placement in Wyckoff needs approval from the borough, and the rule varies by town. Call us and we'll tell you exactly what Wyckoff requires before the truck is scheduled.

We put wood boards under the rails on every delivery, at no charge, and set the container down gently rather than dragging it. Asphalt, pavers, concrete and gravel drives in Wyckoff all get the same treatment. When we pick up, we sweep the spot.
