12 and 20-yard roll-offs delivered on boards to Hackensack driveways, from a family company based in Westwood. 14 days and the weight included, every fee stated before you book.
7am to 9pm, seven days. Describe the job and we'll tell you the size in two minutes.
Hackensack allows a container in the street with a permit ($50 nonrefundable filing fee for residential properties), issued by the Police Department. On your own driveway no permit is needed, and that is where most Hackensack jobs go. See every town's rule.
Time limit on the street or property: 14 days per permit; written application may extend for an additional 14 days. Our standard 14-day rental fits inside most jobs; if yours runs longer, say so when you book.
Bulk pickup versus a dumpster. What Hackensack collects at the curb: Rubbish collected every other Wednesday on alternating routes; by ordinance limited to two furniture items or two bags of debris per collection. Metal items/white goods are not taken as rubbish - they require a $10 sticker per item and an appointment through the Sanitation Office, (201) 646-3955. That works for a couch. A whole garage, a roof or a renovation is a container job.
Bergen County's seat is densely built, with a mile-long residential high-rise district along Prospect Avenue alongside single-family neighborhoods and a downtown.
Checked against Hackensack sources on 2026-09-10: ecode360.com, www.hackensack.org, en.wikipedia.org. Rules change; we confirm before every delivery.
Most homes need the 12. Most renovations and roofs need the 20. Both from our own fleet.

Not for a container on your own driveway. If the container has to sit in the street, Hackensack requires a permit ($50 nonrefundable filing fee for residential properties). Tell us when you call and we'll walk you through it before delivery day.
Often the same day or the next morning, depending on where the trucks are. We're based in Westwood, Bergen County, and our drivers are in Hackensack regularly. Call (201) 913-9400 and we'll give you a real time.
We put wood boards under the rails on every delivery, at no charge, and set the container down gently rather than dragging it. Asphalt, pavers, concrete and gravel drives in Hackensack all get the same treatment. When we pick up, we sweep the spot.
For an attic, garage or single-room job the 12-yard (12 x 8 x 4 ft, 2,000 lb included) is usually right and fits a one-car driveway. Whole-house cleanouts, roofs and renovations take the 20-yard (16 x 8 x 6 ft, 4,000 lb included). Both come with 14 days. Describe the job on the phone and we'll tell you which.
