What Englewood Cliffs collects at the curb: Bulky items should be placed at the curb and then call the DPW for pick up; Do not leave hazardous waste or construction debris for DPW pick up; garbage Mon/Thu south of Palisade Ave, Tue/Fri north. That works for a couch. A whole garage, a roof or a renovation is a container job.
Permit form: Any recyclable material, including, but not limited to: corrugated cardboard, vegetative waste, concrete, asphalt, clean wood, etc., must be delivered to an approved recycling center and/or transfer facility.

Yes, even on your own driveway. Englewood Cliffs requires a permit for a container on private property ($100), issued by the Building Department, and does not allow containers in the street at all. We deal with this every week; tell us the address and we'll tell you what to file and where.
