12 and 20-yard roll-offs delivered on boards to Cresskill driveways, from a family company based in Westwood. 14 days and the weight included, every fee stated before you book.
7am to 9pm, seven days. Describe the job and we'll tell you the size in two minutes.
Cresskill allows a container in the street with a permit ($25), issued by the Building Department. Cresskill requires the permit even on your own driveway, so plan on filing it either way; we tell you exactly what to bring when you book. See every town's rule.
Time limit on the street or property: Single-family zones: 30 days once every six months if not in the street; on a public street max 14 consecutive or concurrent days in any 6-month period; multi-family/commercial: up to 6 months on site (14 days on street); industrial: up to 18 months. A full dumpster must be removed/emptied within 2 days. Our standard 14-day rental fits inside most jobs; if yours runs longer, say so when you book.
Bulk pickup versus a dumpster. What Cresskill collects at the curb: Garbage Tuesdays and Fridays; Fridays garbage plus bulk items (furniture, carpet cut to 4-ft lengths, broken mirrors, non-recyclables) per DPW calendar; Construction material (lumber, windows, doors, roofing, siding, fence), rock, concrete, asphalt and furniture are NOT accepted at the recycling center - You must use a private contractor to dispose of these materials. That works for a couch. A whole garage, a roof or a renovation is a container job.
Borough code contains a section Recycling of Construction/Demolition Debris and Other Nontraditional Recyclables. Permit conditions: dumpster only for debris generated at that location; dumpster company's name and phone must be displayed weather-proof on the container; no dumpster within 10 ft of an adjacent property without the neighbor's signed authorization; street dumpsters no more than 18 in. from curb, barricaded with flashing yellow light after sunset, reflectors visible at 500 ft; not allowed on streets where on-street parking is prohibited.
Cresskill, incorporated in 1894 during Bergen County's Boroughitis, is a New York City suburb of 9,155 residents (2020) bordering Alpine, Bergenfield, Demarest, Dumont and Tenafly.

Most homes need the 12. Most renovations and roofs need the 20. Both from our own fleet.

Yes. Cresskill is one of the towns that requires a permit even for a container on your own driveway ($25), issued by the Building Department. Street placement needs the same permit plus police or road-department approval. We deal with this every week; tell us the address and we'll tell you what to file and where.
Often the same day or the next morning, depending on where the trucks are. We're based in Westwood, Bergen County, and our drivers are in Cresskill regularly. Call (201) 913-9400 and we'll give you a real time.
We put wood boards under the rails on every delivery, at no charge, and set the container down gently rather than dragging it. Asphalt, pavers, concrete and gravel drives in Cresskill all get the same treatment. When we pick up, we sweep the spot.
For an attic, garage or single-room job the 12-yard (12 x 8 x 4 ft, 2,000 lb included) is usually right and fits a one-car driveway. Whole-house cleanouts, roofs and renovations take the 20-yard (16 x 8 x 6 ft, 4,000 lb included). Both come with 14 days. Describe the job on the phone and we'll tell you which.
Same trucks, same terms, across Bergen County. See the Bergen County page.
