The cleanout you keep putting off

Moving out, downsizing, settling a parent's house, or just finally dealing with years of it: the hard part is never deciding to start, it is having somewhere for it all to go. A roll-off container in the driveway is that place, and it stays for 14 days.

Work room by room, on your schedule. When you are done, call and we haul it away and sweep the spot.

Which size for a home cleanout

For a whole-house cleanout, the 20-yard is the container we recommend. It carries 4,000 lb before any overage and has a rear walk-in door for the heavy pieces.

For one room, an attic or a garage, the 12-yard is usually enough. Describe the job on the phone and we will tell you which, before you book.

Questions we are asked.

What size dumpster do I need to clean out a house?

For a whole house, the 20-yard. For a single room, attic or garage, the 12-yard is usually enough. Call (201) 913-9400 and describe it.

What can go in the dumpster?

Furniture, wood, drywall, carpet, tile, metal, glass and yard debris are fine. Paint, liquid chemicals, fuels, tires and dirt or concrete are not.

How long can I keep the dumpster?

14 days, with the weight included. If you need longer, ask when you call.

Will it damage my driveway?

Every container goes down on wood boards, is set down rather than dragged, and the spot is swept at pickup.

Do I need a permit?

Usually not for a container on your own driveway. A few towns ask for one, and we check your town before delivery.
